Stephen Vincent’s “San Francisco Rim Project” raises an interesting question, that probably can’t be answered, except through art. What happens at the rim of culture, structure, and infrastructure; at the very edge where nature—where even our own lives—eventually and naturally undermine our structures and all our assumptions and dreams? Can you stand at the edge, and look over and even under that crumbling rim? What do you see?
