At New Cadence Poetry Series May 21:

Cloud Shepherd: poetry and trance-inspiring music from Berkeley

at Felix Kulpa Gallery and Sculpture Garden, Santa Cruz, CA

Andrew Joron, Brian Lucas, and Joseph Noble, three innovative poet-musicians from the East Bay, will read from their poetry and, as Cloud Shepherd, perform a set of spacey, trancey improvisational music, joined by percussionist Mark Pino. Members are Andrew Joron on theremin and waterphone, Brian Lucas on electric bass and effects, Joseph Noble on flutes and saxophones, and Mark Pino on percussion.
